Education History

Though I struggled very significantly with my mental health, with no assistance from the school counselors or my designated school psychologist, I graduated from Sutherland on time, despite one period of hospitalization.
With a 504 plan and proper medication I was able to excel in foreign language classes, as well as in subjects such as english and science. I maintained fair, above-average grades in other classes regardless of my struggle with severe mental illness.
I elected to take band, choir, select choir, music theory, vocal training, and various art classes, like painting and drawing, to supplement my academic days.

In my junior year of high school, I began taking college-level French language courses through MCC. Post high school graduation I briefly studied geology, before focusing on full-time employment to support my goal of putting myself through an in-depth fashion education and becoming a professionally trained and technically skilled fashion designer.
-
In the summer of 2020, I took a small selection of classes remotely through FIT. I learned more about working with production teams and merchandising, among other things, like fashion history.

From first grade through my senior year of high school I attended some of the best schools in NYS: Allen Creek Elementary, Calkins Road Middle School, and Pittsford Sutherland High School. All of which ranked highly in terms of core academic proficiency.
